Afghanistan is an expensive stone-age place for US tax payers.
It's an accurate statement that our current spending will not be increasing the debt We've stopped spending money that we don't have.

-- Jack Lew, then director of the Office of Management and Budget, in Feb. 16, 2011 testimony before the Senate Budget Committee.

They admitted that it was an accident and a really horrible one. Unfortunately, it's going to take a while to blow over, it's pretty much equivalent to a foreign country invading somewhere in the Bible belt and starting to burn Bibles. Not gonna go down well...

Whatever the recent protests though, there's been some good progress in Afghanistan in the past few years.

The bottom line is that Afghani people don't want our help. They want to be stuck in their antiquated ways and live like vintage animals. Unfortunately, Afghanistan is gonna be a tough one to "get out of."

They legitmately don't understand that we are trying to help them. Help them on Monday, burning the American Flag on Tuesday. SMH.

Dude, we burned their holy book. If someone managed to invade the USA and started burning bibles (even by accident), there would be uproar.

Besides, helping someone by trying to invade them is like breaking someone's arm and telling them it'll make them stronger. While the bones will eventually heal back stronger, they're gonna hate you for it, either way.
