    They say dogs don't conceive time, but if I go on business trips for a few days I get a totally different level of affection than when I come home after work. Such affection though no matter what...

    If I'm gone for more then a few hours my dog waits at the door for me to come home. When I'm about 1/2 mile away he can hear me and is wagging his tail like crazy. My dog is really well trained and he's my buddy. I love dogs, he can be a shit head sometimes but at the end of the day he's the best.

    I recently moved out of my home and don't see "buddy"
    as often there is a differance between coming home every night, to seeing him every few days. I driver a diesel truck and he can hear me coming from a long ways off

    It's amazing my car is quiet and my dogs still know I'm home even when I park up the street, they know the sound of my cars engine over all the cars on my street and 2 others and my GF have the same car....
