Opec and others are saying don't worry about oil, it'll be there but gas manf. or still raising prices. Is it price gouging?

According to www.gaspricewatch.com , it is 2.45 a gallon in Novato Calif....the lowest is in baxter springs Kansas at a measley 1.37 gallon.....average price is 1.81 per gallon nationwide.

Yes, I've seen it at $2.40

My driving habits sure have changed, I don't go places without a reasoned purpose or definate goal and if I do go, I'll try to visit all the places in one outing.

87 grade. And it keeps jumping. I paid $2.03 on Sunday and today (Wednesday) that same station is up to $2.09

It sux a lot. I don't think there's anywhere in LA area that you can get it for under $2.00

The do a little segment on the news where they show the cheapest gas prices in "the Southland" (LA) and stations charging $2.05 are making it on the news as the cheapest around.

Greedy bastards they need to do this now! This war is not about the oil.
