Thread: North Korea Readies Rocket for Imminent Liftoff

if I recall correctly the last 2 times N. Korea launched a rocket to put a satellite into orbit, they ended up with no satellite in orbit...maybe the 3rd time is the charm for them.

I would bet the bank if it is successful this time they have been aided by China. China is well aware of the benefits of "capitalism" and an open economy which is why theirs is closed and they are not in debt to international bankers.

Could you be more in favor or communism or socialism. Seriously, go move there man, you obviously missed that part of about "land of the free". You can say and believe what you want it doesn't mean me and all the other people who love the freedoms we have and the economic system we have need to agree with you cause you spout off some statistics.

What the fuck are you talking about? China's people become more free every day. Sure, it sucks to be them right now, but they are moving in a progressive direction where as we are moving backwards. At the current rate, they will have a more wealth and freedom than we do. In the meantime, dumb fuck American's can wave they faggoty ass flags and brag about how free we are right up until the point where we have no freedoms or wealth.

China has a closed economy? Tell that to the people who camp out at the Apple store, sometimes all night, every time a new phone comes out. Tell that to the guys working at the BMW plant, the VW plant, Honda, GM plant, etc. Tell that to the Canadian coworker of mine who has his own export business here in Beijing. I love the way western folks always talk about how closed off it is over here and how bad people have it when they've never set foot in the country.

I was there during the Olympics so I have been to China...and how many of those stores are legitimate Apple stores and not knock-offs? And are the Chinese actually buying those cars or just assembling them for export?

The majority of the Apple stores are legit. Although, there is a lot of knock off shit being sold no doubt. As far as the cars, they're buying them all right. My wife (soon to be ex!) is driving a Toyota Highlander. The middle class has done well over the last 15 years with a lot of new $.

but China is also experiencing a loss of income as labor markets are being shifter to other country's in S. East Asia with cheaper labor. so how long will the prosperity their last?
