not everyone has a close family. my father has 2 brothers and 2 sisters none of which I have ever seen or talked to in my entire life. my fathers mother lived 20 minutes away from us by Villanova and I only saw her 2x in my entire life before she died.

anybody with my last name that calls me up looking for some $ gets nothing but dial-tone. I don't know them mf's but I do know that they didn't treat my father who was the youngest child that well growing up so fuck em...

frothing at the mouth to give more of their income to those at the top that already have an excess with more tax cuts for the 1% and record profit creating US firms. since only 20% of US GDP is trade and of that 50% is "trade" from US large firms to their manufacturing facilities in Mexico then back to the US for sale. where do they think those profits come from?

u do realize that companies outsource their unskilled labor because it is FAR to expensive to keep it here as a direct result of the unbelievably high taxes that are levied onto them by both the state and the fed..

they cannot even begin to hope to be competitive with foreign companies within the same industry unless they outsource.


Just the other day a congressman (R) was talking about how an american business is facing a 45% tax rate while a canadian business in the same industry is facing a 15% one.. tell me.. how can the americans hope to compete if their own government has it's boot on their throats?

I'm not rich but I don't mind paying taxes to help the poor. I'm not in favor or making them third world poor or seeing the increase in crime in my area that would lead to.

the US has some of the lowest tax rates in the OECD. the statutory rate on paper that the anti-taxers always refer to doesn't mean squat it's what company's pay in reality after all their end of year profit hiding tricks and off balance sheet reporting, etc. that matters.

all of the OECD tax information is right on the website. the US has some of the lowest all around taxes in the OECD, while INCREASING the ability for corporations and individuals to avoid taxes while the other country's in the OECD have closed loopholes, etc. tax cuts are the major reason why the US deficit has grown so large since the 80's along with the additional 5T that was added from 2009-2012 from further reduced revenues from the recession. tax cuts that did not benefit the long term economic output of the country but impeded it by increasing inequality and debt for the average US worker.
