need advice ASAP!

im 16, in hs, and i recently went ou with this chick that was sprung on me, i talked to her for about a week, she was demanding that she wanted to "go out" so a week later i asked her out. This 2 couple weeks of the relationship was great, we saw eachother and everything, then after that i started to notice the feel of being 'avoided' for that week and our spring break we were still talking but i didnt bring up anything about it with her. I would always see her online at late night, and i never saw that b4, so i knew something was up. i talked to a really good chick friend about it, and she said just break up with her now and you will be happy after, and dont look like the bitch so you should break it off NOW, but i was confused cause everything was going well with my girlfriend, durring spring break plans always changed and we could never really see each other (i saw her once, and a second time, but only for a few seconds cause she was "sick") the day when we return from spring break all goes well at school, we talk, after school i get home and shes on the interent and says "we got to talk" so i was a bit stuned (btw im a smartass when something serious is happening) i said "uh oh what did i do?!?!" she says that we cant go out anymore, me being so confused at this point, not knowing what to say i asked if there was someone else and she said no, then i asked why, she replied with i dont want a boyfriend right now, i didnt even love her, and i think she was making her self "try" to love me, she would always do little things like put "i luv u" on my phone background. what do i do about her she wants to be close friends w/o the bennifits kinda like the relationship i have with this other chick i know, so what should i do???

i would say either

a) breaks it off
b) talk to her see what she says
c)break it off and move on

it sounds as thought she had "other" plans over the break and they did not include you, sorry, but that is not a very good g/f.

well, she seemed to have borken it off already (i started responding before finishing it)

not to be blunt - she did not love you, that is simply something "cute" she did, it was not real love. Either she did not really like you as much as she thought, or she is not for having a b/f - or possible, being how cruel teen's are, it was a bet or some other thing that her friends told her to do.....

Either way move on, your young and there will be plenty of other g/f in the future! don't get hung up over this one, it is not worth it.
