Yes, just remember the healing process is part of getting stronger.
8Likes I haven't trained in almost a week. Trying to heal my aches and pains and I feel really guilty. Anybody else feel this way after taking a break?

Just rub some dirt on it and get back in there...
Try some Vicodin.
First and foremost, take care of yourself. If your body is telling you to rest...listen to it.
It's natural to feel what you're feeling right now.
It's not just training, it's a way of life.
You'll know when it's time to hit the gym again.
I wish you a speedy recovery.

Chill Out !!! Smoke a 'fatty', rub one out, order a PIZZA.....
I have been drinkin Smithwicks, eating Vicodin, and watching tv.

The Vic's work so much better if you snort 'em...
I agree with Charley...just make sure to wash your hands before eating that pizza lol!
Some days you're the fist and some days you're the face!

You think thats bad.. I haven't been to the thy for 2 weeks![]()

i can't stay out of the gym if my life depended on it, last year i nearly tore my chest and would just train my left side and walk on the stepper. I suck down the motrin
"Stop what you're doing, cuz I'm about to ruin, the image and the sound you're used to. Look here, I love that Humpty song. Stop cramping my style, man." SI
Current Work out Method: Doggcrapp Training

I go even when I am hurt... train abs, calves, forearms, cardio - find something to do that doesn't hurt... truthfully, staying away is harder mentally than training... just my 2 cents.

I have surgery coming up. Will be out 4-6 weeks. Then two more surgeries approximately 8 weeks apart (if all goes according to plan).
Sucks but you need time to heal.

I know how you feel. This has been a major fucked up year for me. First, it was prostate cancer. Which BTW, was beat. Then I tore tendons in my left foot. So, I am hobbling around with a brace because after all the cancer shit the last thing I want to do is go under the knife. Last month my back was acting up very bad. All the hobbling and some other stuff according to the MRI I blew out two disks. Do I want to get back in the gym? FUCK YEAH! However, right now I need to heal. Besides, the way things are going, I would probably drop a 45 pound plate on my good foot breaking it too.
I feel like that also. sucks but sometimes you need to heal up
