who threw the damned stick? kinda obvious it wasn't fair weather for a dog to jump in the surf. horrible outcome to a moment of someone just not thinking. a dog is orphaned by three people who loved him enough to go in that surf after him
.... can't help but wonder if he came out with the stick.

I live here and surf near that spot regularly. The beach is very steep and rogue waves are very common around here. Just about a month ago a surfer was bit 20 miles from that same spot; tough spot to learn to surf. Very sad.
