I missed LAM stating he took Econ, Poli-Sci, Sociology courses (I took a couple Econ, Political-Econ, and I majored in Poli-Sci).
Regardless if LAM took the undergrad courses (I assume he did), LAM contributes the most of any of us here when it comes to economics, economic trends and economic policy - whether you, I, or we, agree with him or not.
LAM is a bloodhound. This guy can find tons of data that is applicable to the topic at hand.
(I just reviewed the CMDDEBT data he posted from the Federal Reserve).
LAM uses a lot of data to reinforce his points.
Whether he took these classes or not he has definitly self-educated himself - and this - is the best education you can have after we leave university.
