    $18B Spent on Immigration

$18 billion immigration price tag is larger than spending on the FBI, Drug Enforcement Administration, Secret Service, U.S. Marshals Service and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives combined.

I was looking at the 2013 Fed budget and USAID is only slated at 51B. so many misconceptions about spending by the Fed gov when most of it goes to US large firms, etc. in the forms of subsidy, tax give-always, etc..etc..at $1T a year.

My favorite misconception "Renewable energy wouldn't have a leg to stand-on with out subsidizing."

"In fact, in a 2009 report issued by the Environmental Law Institute, researchers found that from 2002 to 2008, subsidies for fossil fuels totaled approximately $72 billion - while subsidies for renewable energy during that time period rang up at $29 billion. That's quite a difference!"
That doesn't even include the costs of keeping military presence in key strategic zones and policing shipping lanes.

We are getting fleeced by fossil fuel companies and the countries they extract it from, via foreign tax credit and offshore leasing. It's not all their fault as many of those countries charge higher tax percentages on oil and gas income tax than they do for general income tax 10-60% higher.

"Saudi Arabia, for example, the income tax on oil and gas extraction income is 85%, while the non-petroleum tax rate is 20%. In Nigeria, the petroleum tax rate is 85%, while the generally applicable rate is 30%. In the United Arab Emirates, the petroleum tax rate ranges from 55-85%, while the general rate is 20%."

Any other gov. Land that is leased gets fair market value, but not offshore leasing, it is lost revenue.

Any fiscal conservative who really looked into these numbers would be screaming "Solar, Wind, etc Now, not later!"

facts and empirical data and reports from top economists mean nothing to them it's all ideology and "beliefs". Gears is a perfect example he still believes Reagan was a great POTUS and supply-side economics "worked"...

not fuck up the country worst than it is with bad economic policy not easily reversed on the damage from that repaired.

if you bothered to read any of the reports from the FED that I post you would understand the situation the US economy is in. US homeowners have lost 40% of their total wealth which means no more using the home as an ATM to fuel over-consumption via extended debt. non-US home owners that are not just out of college and young, etc. most likely have been forced into the low wage service sector which means they have not much in income.

no magic beans to fix the US economy. financial deregulation and the issuing of debt obviously isn't the option, hence the 2008 financial collapse. as all the leading economists in the world have stated (as I have regurgitated this also), nothing gets better until real wages are increased in the US it's that simple.

the top 5% accounts for 35% of US consumption, the Fed gov accounts for around 20-25% and the working class makes up the rest.

income generates wealth creation with determines consumption. if income or wealth is decreased so does consumption. this stuff is not rocket science. it doesn't change because it's Jan 2013 or next week, next month or years from now. this is the formula.

    * the post Great Depression economy to the late 70's was fueled by labor wages across all the 5 income quintiles

    * 80's economy was fueled by the tens of millions of baby-boomers which increased consumption and financial deregulation and the expansion of debt/credit.

    * 90's economy was fueled by the growth of labor wages in the tech sector which carried over to the early 2000's

    * the 2000's economy was fueled by mortgage debt of both new homes and cash-out refi's, HELOC's, etc. once adjusted for inflation real income growth from this decade 100% went to the top 1%.

    * the 2010-? economy is going to be years of sluggish growth while US homeowners de-leverage from the record US household debt that hit 14T in 2008. It increased from 50% of GDP in the 80's the average for the better part of the last century. this process is going to take a long time as was stated in the reports from the FED, IMF, etc.

    $51 Billion to USAID?

That is insane. As in waaaaay to high.

USAID is one of the dodgiest and corrupt organizations.

I worked under people that were former manager in USAID programs. It's another too for the State Department. They dump millions of dollars into countries to win favor toward Washington policies. A lot of this taxpayer money is stolen in scam and corruption.

In one scam in a country to gain favor for oil deal and contracts, millions of USAID money (millions of taxpayer money) was given to farmers to buy cows and other item. The cows were never bought, but listed as "purchased" but died on the way in transport to a "disease."

USAID knows about a lot of this, but turns the other way. US embassy, USAID, State, and all of the usual suspects are involved. Very corrupt organization.
It's an accurate statement that our current spending will not be increasing the debt We've stopped spending money that we don't have.

-- Jack Lew, then director of the Office of Management and Budget, in Feb. 16, 2011 testimony before the Senate Budget Committee.

$18 billion dollars spend on controlling immigrants. Woopdie-fucking-doo.

These number are two years out of date, but still valid.

    1. $11 billion to $22 billion dollars are spent each year on welfare to illegal aliens. FAIR: : Immigration and Welfare

    2. $2.2 billion dollars are spent each year on food assistance programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches for illegal aliens. Center for Immigration Studies

    3. $2.5 billion dollars are spent each year on Medicaid for illegal aliens. Center for Immigration Studies

    4. $12 billion dollars are spent each year on primary and secondary school education for children here illegally and they cannot speak a word of English! CNN.com - Transcripts

    5. $17 billion dollars are spent each year for education for the American-born children of illegal aliens, known as anchor babies. CNN.com - Transcripts

    6. $3 Million Dollars PER DAY is spent to incarcerate illegal aliens. CNN.com - Transcripts

    7. 30% percent of all federal prison inmates are illegal aliens. CNN.com - Transcripts

    8. $90 bill ion dollars are spent each year on illegal aliens for welfare & social services by the American taxpayers. CNN.com - Transcripts

    9. $200 billion dollars per year in suppressed American wages are caused by the illegal aliens. CNN.com - Transcripts

    10. The illegal aliens in the United States have a crime rate that's two and a half times that of white non-illegal aliens. In particular, their children, are going to make a huge additional crime probl em in the US. CNN.com - Transcripts

    11. During the year 2005, there were 4 to 10 MILLION illegal aliens that crossed our southern border with as many as 19,500 illegal aliens from terrorist countries. Millions of pounds of drugs, cocaine, meth, heroine, and marijuana crossed into the U.S. from the southern border.Redirecting...

    12. The National Policy Institute, estimates that the total cost of mass deportation would be between $206 and $230 billion, or an average cost of between $41 and $46 billion annually over a five year period.& nbsp; National Policy Institute - Publications

    13. In 2006, illegal aliens sent home $45 BILLION in remittances back to their countries of origin. Wooldridge - How Much Further Into This Nightmare?

    14. The dark side of illegal immigration: Nearly one million sex crimes are committed by illegal immigrants in the United States!" http://www.drdsk.com/articleshtml

The total cost is a whopping $338.3 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR!!!
I'm sure there's some overlap in those number, but even if they're inflated by 50%, that's still a very, very large amount of money.

Illegals need to be rounded up and have their asses shipped home. The cost savings from that point forward -- and not just in money, but in the very civility of this country -- would be huge.

yep...that's what the money has always been about. getting other country's to adopt neo-liberal policy with the US military in close proximity as another added factor in encouragement.

most don't get how this stuff works in the real world.
