Alex Jones is a fat annoying fuck. I hate that guy. He has said things over the years that I agree with, but I just hate his fake ass fire and brim stone preacher style of talking.

seen a couple of his clips on youtube but I can't take loudmouths regardless if I do or don't agree with their position on said topic. it would certainly be a sad day for the US if the fed gov starts taking away our guns. look at Russia you can't buy them yet all the criminals have them. while the are useless for fighting against a modern day military the crime statistics just don't warrant it no matter how much they cook the books or create a more violent and impoverished society through policy.

I think it was China or Japan last month that had a mass stabbing with almost 20 people injured. when a person goes postal he/she can do a lot of damage with a pencil/pen, iron rod, bat, knife, etc. guns just make it a little easier and not as personal as it's from a distance. the preferred weapon of the coward gone crazy.

Alex Jones didn't answer questions. He just yelled and screamed. In my opinion, he came across like a complete fucking asshole.

Alex Jones is a bit of a weirdo who seems to have gone off the deep end and not really recovered from it. That being said he can say the things that need to be said from time to time. To him it isn't a liberal/conservative conflict, it's actually a people vs. the government conflict. The ideology that gets pumped out 24/7 is what has so many believing it is a liberal/conservative conflict. That is just to keep us all divided and not paying attention to what is really going on, which is the continued beatdown of the majority of the people in the US by those that are wealthy and/or in power. At this point in our history anyone who can't see that is a stupid tit.

Alex Jones had good arguments but he failed in the delivery.

Was this a real debate? No.

Jones probably does believe in what he said, but he likes to stir the pot. He's on the radio and he needs to stay steady in rating and he does have an "info war" agenda.

As for Piers Morgan, he's a c*ck.

I noticed when economist John Lott was on talking statistics that Morgan screamed over him but when Morgan invites some loudmouth lunatic on he pretends he wants a sensible debate. At least he showed this Marine some respect.

And what the hell is up with that General talking about how powerful the .223 round is? That's not even debatable. The .223 is weak compared to many common cartridges used for hunting. If a .223 is devastating, what the fuck is a .03-06? A WMD?

Liberals strategically chose an idiot like Jones to this "debate" so that America can see him as the face and voice of gun rights... Liberals set this up perfect and Jones acted exactly how they wanted him too.

Yeah. A 223 is basically a souped up 22 long. Several rounds like the 30-06, 300 magnum, or even a 30-30 are considerably more powerful.

Morgan knew exactly what he was doing. Putting Jones as the face of the 2nd amendment. He knows he's a little wacko. He's trying to get his viewers to think all gun rights people are crazy. Jones fell right into his hands.

its been a while and maybe someone here might know the answer. but I thought 223 was used for proficiency because its cheaper and the shooting ranges were short distance compared to real combat.

I don't want to be shot with any of them but this implication that AR-15s are "high powered" or that the .223/5.56 somehow has magical properties beyond the laws of physics is total bullshit.

Typical, Alex Jones may come off over the top but his facts all check out. He was fact checked by a local station in Cinncinati and not only was he right but Morgan was wrong on more than one fact he presented. Morgan is a puppet, plain and simple doing the bidding of the powers to be (some would say the new world order, call it what you will).
