This guy is an idiot, i can't believe any one voted for him period. Honestly if I saw some one robbing some one at gun point with an obama sticker on their car, i would just keep on walking even though I have my CCW and trained in combat. Kids drown in pools all the time every year, lets ban swimming pools. There has been over 730 stories reported of lives saved by self defence with guns... So whats next 730 more deaths... Obama wants the gov't to have full control over the people period, first was gov't healthcare now its, removing more of our rights. Next thing you know the tax dollars that were suppose to go for our gov't healthcare are going to end up going over seas to foriegn business just like he did with our stimulus package.

everyone needs to call and write to their elected representative and tell them to vote no to these provisions when they come before congress. Everyone of you who voted for Obama needs a swift kick in the nuts right now. This, NDAA, CISPA, SOPA. You are all to blame. He knows nothing about the economy, takes away our rights at every turn, spends money like it's monopoly, and you reelected him? wtf?

Obama said the PERF 2010 survey found that more than one third of police departments reported an increase in criminals' use of assault weapons and high capacity magazines since the prohibition expired in 2004. Here's what the PERF surveys said in the URL posted above...

Gun crime with previously banned assault weapons - 58% said same or less, 9.7% said increasing (rest responded "don't know").

Gun crime with high capacity magazines - 56.9% said same or less, 13.7% said increasing.

Gun Theft - 42% same or less, 42.2% increasing.

Street purchasing of ILLEGAL guns - 27.5% same or less, 31% increasing.

Where gun crime is rated as "problematic" or "very extensive", the key factors given were rated as 45.1% gangs, 41.7% drugs.

Even if you add together the 9.7% that said assault weapon crimes were increasing and the 13.7% that said high capacity magazine use in crimes was increasing, you're still way under "one third". And when the police respond that gangs and drugs are responsible for almost 90% of the gun crimes they see, the path forward is to restrict the hardware that can be owned by LAW ABIDING people?

President Obama and VP Joe Biden's recent live broadcast about common sense gun control issues was totally obsurd!. You expect Americans to believe a President talking about common sense gun controls. Crimanals do not buy guns from licensed dealers, they steal them.

A gun free zone makes shooting children as easy as shooting fish in a barrel. No one to fight back against the shooter! If Sandy Hook's Teachers had training and the ability to carry on school grounds they would have had a chance to stop the shooter.

How can Americans believe in our Government when they vote themselves a pay raise, while American's tighten their belts. Obama's health plan took 2600.00 a year out of my net income! I AM NOT THE RICH! How is that suppose to help the economy!

I find it funny the people some of the people who voted for him are the ones complaining about this. Even if I was a democrat and hated Romney, I still would vote against Obama because I knew his stance on the second amendment. The entire democratic party though has an idealolgy for this country of gov't control. It is just one slice of pie at a time they are taking. Little by little they will turn us into a fully gov't controlled country, where we have little to no rights at all..

I mean seriously there are more deaths each year due to cellphones in car accidents... Yes, they made cell phones illege to use in a car with out hands free, but did that stop people? NO!! it does not matter if the law is small or large people will break the law no matter what. What will they do ban cell phones next?

Pitbulls are known to be dangerous aggressive dogs should we ban them and destroy the bread? FUCK NO!!! (I own two) It comes down to the owners responsibility and we can not change the law for the 99% the follow the law just because an idiot this year used an assult rifle to kill people. People are just fucking idiots because if I wanted to do real damage It would be with my R700 300winmag from over 1000 yards away. A round that will seperate some ones back the the neck from their body basically.

I wasnt talking about newtown I was talking about the movie theatre shooting. thats why i just said an idiot. This is all just a smoke screen for the gov't to take more control. The gov't fears critical thinkers and wants people that will depend on them. Because the less people that need gov't assistance the weaker they are. It is all just a game. Democrat and Republicans its like two NFL teams making stratigic plays and trades to try to beat each other. Thats all they car about.
