Thread: Vet stands up to Antigunners in Chicago IL

Help me out here folks. I am confused. When I was 18-25 years old, the government trusted me with all sorts of firearms, things that blow shit up, parachutes, and allowed me to act autonomously within an operational zone. Now, I am 50, with a 6 figure job, own a home, married, doing all the things a law abiding citizen is expected, but now they don't trust me with a gun? What sense does that make?

I hope you guys are doing something other than talk about it on forums. Make sure you're writing your representatives. Join the NRA. Do something about it!

You are no longer in the military so they have no use for you other than paying taxes. They don't want you to have a gun because you might one day rise up and say enough is enough. Unarmed people can't do that.

Doing that! I get responses from MY congressman and Senator, To date have not gotten a reply from ther Whitehouse. Go Figure!

My message to you specifically states "I am opposed to any new anti-gun legislation and any anti-ammunition legislation." I received some BS email from Biden asking me to stand next to him on tougher gun laws. I was wondering where the "Fuck You" response was??

President Obama and VP Joe Biden's recent live broadcast about common sense gun control issues was totally absurd!. You expect Americans to believe a President talking about common sense gun controls. Criminals do not buy guns from licensed dealers, they steal them.
Obama talked about keeping guns out of the hands of criminals, while Eric Holde. denies any knowledge of Fast and Furious, where MY government supplied Assault weapons to the Mexican drug Cartel!
Obama's Children have armed gaurds at their school, While my children have to go to school in a "Gun Free Zone"
A gun free zone makes shooting children as easy as shooting fish in a barrel. No one to fight back against the shooter! If Sandy Hook's Teachers had training and the ability to carry on school grounds they would have had a chance to stop the shooter.

Obama talked about adding extra Police to the Police force. With what money Obama?
How can Americans believe in our Government when they vote themselves a pay raise, while American's tighten their belts. Obama's health plan took 2600.00 a year out of my net income! I AM NOT THE RICH! How is that suppose to help the economy!

Why is it that America the land of the Free and the Home of the Brave opens it borders to people who want to come here for the Freedom's MY parents fought for, but once they are here we cater to the minority and allow them to change OUR AMERICA.

When the Administration starts using common sense We The People May start to listen.

Member of NRA and GOA. I volunteer, call and send letters (emails don't cut it) so often that my representatives say "Oh, not you again?"

I've been sending messages like this on a daily basis.

Do not mistake this as support for more gun control. This is to inform you, Ms. Stabenow, about the truth of the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary. The truth is that an AR-type rifle was NOT used in the shooting. Using the Sandy Hook tragedy to force anti-gun legislation through is immoral because it is based on lies.

I will remind you that you took an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America. Do so. If you choose not to you should immediately vacate your senate position so that someone who will fulfill that oath can do so.

I am a US citizen who resides in your district. I vote. And I will not comply with any unconstitutional legislation that your colleagues, such as Diane Feinstein, try to pass. It is your duty to remind her of the oath she took when elected to office.

I blame us for all of this. We are the reason these idiots are in office. Too many of us voted for the libs, Obama or whom ever because as a whole, we fell into the BS they were spouting. I can't tell you the number of people that voted for Obama just because he was a Democrat. John McCain, Ron Paul, and Mitt Romney may not have been God sent, but they would have been head and shoulders better than the idiots in office now.

Ron Paul is for the people i would love to see him get the republican seat.
