There's a few of those at my gym.

The phone thing reminds me the other day an older guy, probably some upper management type somewhere, was going with someone over the phone about how in his mind cooking oil and machine oil are the same and he can't see why they can't just dump both down the drain. Whatever. When the EPA catches up with them and fines them into oblivion they won't be getting any sympathy from me.

Half the people in my gym are "that guy"

I switched gyms this year. I actually have no complaints about people that I can think of so far. It's a pretty serious gym for a small town. People hang out around the office but on the weight floor everyone is just there to lift. It's kinda weird now that I think about it.

College gyms are the worst. I don't miss that shit, white frat bros in there socializing, skinny Indian kids exploring, black kids bench pressing and socializing, the weird kid that doesn't shower, girls in low cut tops only doing exercises that require them to bend over, and one little Asian girl resting 3 minutes between 8 sets of 40 reps each of cable pulldowns with only the top plate.
