I agree. This is the first vette since the 60's I can say I'm impressed with. Car and Driver has about a 10 page spread this month on the new vette and I can finally say GM made something desirable. The corvette has been piecemeal pos for decades but it looks like GM is finally getting a clue with their redneck Ferrari.
My dad has a '11 Grand Sport 4LT convertible and I wouldn't give him $50 for it. It has a cheesy ass Cobalt grade 'plastic fantastic' interior, uncomfortable seats and an antiquated navigation system that would be embarrassing in a KIA. My wife's G37 Sport even has significantly bigger rotors and calipers on all four corners compared to dad's vette yet it only tops out at 160.
