A pick-up........
With the end of the second semester I am presently very patiently awaiting the arrival of my final grades. Once they are in... I will be presenting them to my lord and father, upon which he will determine whether I am worthy of being bestowed with my own car next semester. This would be a very appreciated occurrence because next semester I'm gonna be living rather far from campus... and for that matter rather far from everything.... so a car would definately help in getting around.
Anyway....... I seek your wisdom today because I wanted to hear what type of car y'all recomend for me. I want something that doesn't suck, is fuel efficient and not too expensive. suggestions please??
A pick-up........
Damn you talk sweet when you WANT something from us.![]()
As much as I hate to admit it, it's hard to beat Japanese cars from the late 80's and early 90's. Get yourself a Toyota or Honda. They're easy to maintain, reliable, economic and, even if they do breakdown, they're easy to fix.![]()
Rules? You mean we have RULES for that???
i suggest you get a really big kite and just glide to school
Can't go wrong with Honda Civic / Accord or Toyota Corrola / Camry.

VW turbodiesel jetta gets my vote
they get like 50mpg, and have some decent pickup. diesels last forever, and the VW service is usually pretty good.
i almost got one about a year ago when i was car shopping... but somehow ended up with a WRX instead (dont ask).![]()

Diesels last if you take care of them, otherwise they burn oil like a mofo.

I gotta agree with the honda and toyota advice as well. Ive had a one of each and they were always good cars... had a crx and a civic... add a mitsubishi to that list too... Im currently driving my second eclipse... last one had 200K+ miles on it when I got rid of it. Good luck.
