One thing I like, and prefer about smaller boards like this one, is people usually know each other and get along like a family. Thats one big thing I dont like about the bigger boards, let them treat each other like ants if thats what they choose, lighten up...

I'm hearing you Mudge but that doesn't seem the way it's been around here as of late. I'm trying to nip this problem in the bud before we wind up like those other boards your speaking of. I'm serious when I say that if the attitudes don't cease, I'm banning myself because I don't need that sort of candy ass behavior. Hey Tidal where are you from? San Diego (seal beach)? If so I envy you. I came to SD last August and loved every minute of it. I'd kill to live there. If I were single and didn't have so many years and senority here where I work, I'd pack up and move there in a heartbeat.

Personally, I find it hard to take anything said to me or about me seriously. It's the internet and all anyone knows about me is what I allow them to know via repies to various threads. If they choose to grip and make rude comments, so be it.

It does tend to change things when I'm lucky enough to meet a fellow IM'er in person. I've now met 2 from here ... IT and the lovely JBo ... and was lucky enough that they are both great people.

Well Natural I know exactly what your saying regarding the Internet and all but I tend not to lump Ironmagazine in there. As you just stated, you've met 2 people from here in person and both are great people. This example proves my point even more clearly. The majority of Regulars here are awesome people and well respected by everyone including myself. This is exactly why it upsets me so to see such upstanding members act like asses. I won't lie when I say my feelings were hurt by these people expecially the female whom I've gotten along with great since I 1st arrived. I want to continue to come here and have fun and not get into a debate over every single word I write and if it is politically correct. It hasn't been that way and I want it to say a close knit group. I'd hate to see this place turn into a MM.com site.

I never mentioned your name and as with person number one only he would really know who he is unless he speaks out as you just did and takes ownership.

This came across to me like "why do you talk about me in public" and then you do the same. FWIW I think Rob did what he could for a damn good reason, obviously opinions will differ, if a man feels he has nowhere else to turn then he is going to try what he knows how or else give up. Seems you can't please women at all sometimes, should he have thrown in the towel?

It seems to me that both you and Fade are here to start trouble, one of you is on the defensive and the other on the offensive. What gives?

I only mentioned MMA as if it were a metaphor... I certainly did not intend to bring up that whole situation again.
