Babe Ruth was drunk most of the time he was playing, plus he smoked cigars all the time. Who's to say those drugs didn't give him an edge, or take the edge off lowering his stress levels helping him perform better? I know last time I played a game of touch football I had a nice beer buzz going and my knee that usually bothers me was feeling no pain and I ran circles around guys 10-15 years younger than me.
I forget his name but there was a player on the Cowboy's that used to snort coke in the huddle in the 70's. there have been several highly effective athletes that did that in the past, once they got clean their careers were over.
How do they prove damages here. They received $137 million worth of advertising and paid $17 million for that. Void the contract and he can sue them for unjust enrichment. He pays them 17 and they can pay him 137.
If you work for a company and are caught using drugs, that employer doesn't get the wages paid back for the work/services rendered, period. This is more GOV bullshit.
the only problem with that is the higher up the income ladder you go the less drug testing there is. only the people at the bottom get regularly tested for drugs, the ones that earn the least and generally have the lest responsibility and have the smallest ability to have a negative effect on the economy (no means to cause a recession, etc.).
I've had to pee in a cup once in my life, when I was shuttling cars for a Ford dealer back in the 80's, I think it was 1988.
