Hey, I figured I would share with the dysfunctional crowd this site seems to attract,

I tipped back few budlights with the new Boss at applebee's last night.

Applebees? WTF....You should have taken him to a tittie bar. You would have gotten the job after the first interview.

Congrats, MJ. The job market isn't particularly good right not. I've heard estimates of it taking 5-6 months to land a job. How long had you been looking?

Well.. I am in the HR field.. so I have an interesting insight considering that I have been on both ends of the interviewing process..

My advice is to utilize the internet.. Monster.com and Hotjobs are probably the most viewed by employers. And you are right , you do need that 3-6 window

Personally, I have been aggressively looking since Mid-Feb or so

Are you working for a recruiting firm, or in a company's HR department?

Yup, I remember that. If I was looking for a new job, you'd be the guy to contact. A technical recruiter placed me in my current job, even though I am more functional than technical.
