    My new babies.........

Hey all, how are you..........just wanted to show you the newest babes in my family, Sage & Sargeant, I am awaiting their arrival, I adopted them from a kill shelter in West Virginia, each of them a day before they were due to die.

I'm psyched, a friend of mine is driving down to pick them up, I was completely amazed at the number of unwanted animals in this country and the fact that they actually have kill shelters, I had never heard of this before, anyway here's the link where they are and another link for you to check, and yes I am definitely an animal lover.

I have raised shepherds and labs mostly but have had a variety of animals, before I went on my little excursion to NY, I had 19 animals in my house and that doesn't include my kids haha, although 7 of them were purebred black lab puppies..............

    The first pic is Sage...........

Sargeant does not look like a purebred, I will see when he gets here and I'll take new pics of all of us too and post them........

They actually like cats and other dogs, my cat is 18 yrs old and definitely the head of this house, she'll put em in their place right away, as she has all the other dogs I've had, haha, her time is very short now though, she has been ill for about 2 1/2 yrs now and I can't bring myself to have her put down, she seems content, just sickly as in flu systems..........

My first two shepherds I had "Gilda & Greta" were actually donated to the Maine State Police, I had to give them up when I had my daughter, they were babies too and it was alot to take care of, I hear they have been place with other deptartments now out of state..............

Katie, I would've gotten the pit bull. Actually my friend had one and they're really mean at first, but after they see you like 5 times in the house and welcome, they are as nice or nicer than any other dog to you. But it's too bad for all the surplus animals, we got our dog from a shelter she'd been in for like 6 months.

I was suppose to pick up a deaf pitbull in CT on my way down for a girl in PA but the girl didn't check out as a good reference, supposedly they ship pittie's down to PA, WV that area for fighting so the rescue leagues check out anyone that wants a pitbull, I was definitley irritated hearing about this, strange world we live in, isn't it?

Hiya Princess, yep GSD's are awesome dogs, can't wait to meet them, I agree about the shelter, I still can't believe I never heard of them before, I was actually going to become a foster home for animals, which is what initiated my finding the dogs.....

Hi David, how are you...........I'm extremely bizzzzzzeeee, but I try and read here as much as possible, just to check up on you all, haha, actually I miss alot of you but just don't have the time right now to hang out and be a post whore, hehe

Hey RC, if you want the pitbull, he may still be ok, I talked to Jan about one of the puppies the day after it was suppose to be PTS and she still had it, I could call her in the am for you and my friend could pick him up and deliver him to you, he's not leaving for WV till tomorrow(tuesday)night, let me know, email me at Kate_tmc@midmaine.com, OK..........
