When I felt and heard the pop I thought....hmmm...not good.

My right foot stayed flat as I fell to my right side.

I did not say anything cause I am so F***ing upset, but I pinched a nerve in my back two weeks ago, went to the ER cause my entire right arm was numb and in pain at the same time. The pain was so bad I was almost in tears. I thought I screwed up my back or something, I even went to an Orthopedic surgeon, but it turns out to just be a muscle spasm that is pushing on some radial plexus (sp?) nerve in my upper back.

Here I am 2 weeks later, still taking muscle relaxers and Advil, my frick'n back and arm still hurts, and I cannot train...IT SUCKS!

    so I hear ya!

Yeah Fade - total bummer. I have been fairly fortunate and only pulled a calf and back muscle this year. Only lost 1 week each time. I bet you can still do partial workouts for a lot of the body. This is a case where some of the seated machines come in handy to take the weight off of your ankle. With all the GH and growth momentum you have working for you things should heal up fast. Actually they may heal too fast and tighten up on you – so try and keep everything all limber with light weights as you can take the pressure. In theory an injury heals back even stronger than it originally was so it may not be as bad as you think. Just take this as an unplanned time off cycle to regen some deep energy sources and get ready for your next growth phase.

I am one to talk though. My body has been telling me for a month to take off and rest for a few weeks. Shoulders are getting over trained and I can’t do any kind of significant chest workouts without suffering a lot of deep tissue and joint pain there.

Good Luck – your photos look great.

Elevate it as much as possible to keep the swelling down, use some anti-inflams, and sleep with your foot on a pillow at night. It will make a huge difference. It could be worse - you could have torn your achilles tendon. I was not suppose to run for 6 months!! 4-6 weeks won't be too bad for you....as others said you can still train your upper body. NOW is the time to watch your diet though.
