For a tax refund to come in? I have been waiting about eight weeks, which I think is too long. Then I called CCRA (our tax agency in Canada) and they told me that they haven't had a refund filed yet for me. If they have received it but haven't done it yet would they still have it registered as not there?

My accountant, who is also a friend of mine who is notorious for being a lazy ass told me he sent everything in at the end of July. I have a horrible feeling that he didn't even send anything in. Since he's on holidays for two weeks I can't do anything right now but needless to say I'm pretty pissed off.

If I find out that he didn't send in the forms when he told me that he did, can I sue him for fraud or something like that? I'm pissed off enough to actually pursue something like that.
