He`s a fucking moron. He was choked out TWICE by one of the guys on some movie for speaking shit.........Gene LaBell was the choker, Segal, chokie
As the story goes....."LeBell was doing the stunt choreography for one of Steven's movies (LeBell is a very accomplished stuntman). Anyway, a few guys were gathered around and Gene was telling them about grappling. Seagal overheard and something to the effect of "that shit wouldnt' work on me, because you couldn't get ahold of me...and even if you did, I could get out of it." So apparantly LeBell called him on it, and asked if he could try. So, apparantly they locked up, and of course Gene easily got behind him and put him in a standing choke, Steven wouldn't tap, so Gene choked him all the way out. They woke him up, and Gene was walking away, but Steven was too happy about what had happened, and came running at LeBell, yelling and such. He was still groggy, and LeBell caught him, and choked him out AGAIN."

Several people swear it is.
LeBell was some world champ at Judo amoungst other martial arts too, so it wouldn`t surprise me. When Segal was in Japan he spoke a lot of shit too and had several offers to fight.....he left pretty damned quickly too lol

There are stories about every martial artist that has made a movie. Some may be true, but I find it hard to believe that it happens to every martial artist that makes a movie. I've heard the same about Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Jet Li ... etc. It's almost like an urban myth ...
