Car Insurance!
Holy crap!
Just got a quote on my new vehicle...it's going to cost me another car payment just for the insurance.
Lowest quote: $2800 per year. I have been driving for 10 years plus, no claims, no suspensions, 1 minor ticket (speeding 15km over limit). I am a good driver. And I'm getting totally screwed by the system here.
Good thing there is an election today in Ontario.
Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.

Thanks NG...yeah...we do get a lot of great stuff like free health care. I guess in the long run having to pay a little more for car insurance isn't a bad thing.
One of our parties was hoping to make car insurance public...which would have been nice. Nothing like a little competition to drive prices down. We just had the same thing happen with our phone providers who now have to compete, and funnily enough, their customer service skills suddenly improved 2000%Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.
