    Severe chest pain

I had this 'attack' while at work. My jaw tightened, I felt a sharp pain in my chesh and between my shoulder blades. It lasted for almost 3 minutes. Any clue?

That doesn't sound good. How old are you?
Homer: Hey! I saved your life! That egg sandwich could have killed you by cholesterol.
Lenny: Pfft, forget it, Homer. While it has been established that eggs contain cholesterol, it has not yet been proven conclusively that they actually raise the level of serum cholesterol in the human
    blood stream.

    Anxiety attack?
The statue of Liberty no longer reads "Bring us your tired, your hungry, your huddled masses..."
Now she's holding a baseball bat and it reads "Bring It On."

What are you asking us for? Go as a doc. Better safe than sorry. How old are you man? Not that it really matters though. Honestly, I'd go in nad have the doc take a look. I had an episode like that at my office and I was scared to death. My entire family has a history of heart disease. I had it checked out and though it was stress related it was not heart related.

No later than 10 minutes after I posted that did it increase ten fold. My boss called it in and the EMT's came and got me. The pain radiated to my jaw and back, and I started to shake and sweat. After about 2 hours the shaking stopped and I was released from the hospital. They have no idea what it was and assume that it was from stress. Thing is, I was perfectly calm when it happened. I'm a little worried, but as far as they know it was nothing.

Regarding a stress attack, you don't have to be under immediate stress to have a stress related attack.

Would you have felt better about had you died skinny?

Hope everythign turns out okay man. Did they run blood work on you too? You may consider going in when you are feeling better and having them run a stress test on you.

They did run blood work. They also ran some special test to search for enzymes that appear when someone has a heart attack, but no luck.

I'll check the stress test. What does it involve?

Number one, I'm not a kid.

Number two, believe what you want. It happened, I have no reason to lie about something like that.

Stress tests even sometimes fail to detect problems.

It kills me how they let you go after that happened and all they can tell you is "we have no idea what happened!" Never mind you may have a serious condition.
Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.

The difference between winners and losers is that winners do things that losers don't want to do.

hahahaha, i know man i wasnt being serious ! im sure that no one would kid around about a prob like this,, but i know that he has copied and pasted things from other bb forums claiming it as his own, so im a bit skeptical about what he says,,,,

Well that's good to hear but honestly, I've read some of his copy/paste posts and I honestly didn't see where he claimed they were his. in fact I think it's great that he goes out and gets that info and posts it for everyone. If he is "claiming" them to be his own, I'd be very disapointed with him myself. Several out of the suppliment area look to be straight from a health journal or something. well anyway I'm glad everything is cool though. I hate to see fighting in here. (believe me I'm currently trying to end a small fued with someone myself). lol

Hummmm Well you raise a very good point. he did post that in a way that he makes it appear to be his own. I think I'm gonna have to put him over my knee and tell him to stop that.
