If the Sox win, there will be no more Boston. It will literally burn down to the ground, as well as much of New England. Actually, Red Sox nation is everywhere, so there will be rioting across the U.S.

you foolish Red Sox fans get so up once you win a series, no wonder you get so distraught when you lose for gods sake! I really don't see Boston winning this series people, I mean Perdo isn't pitching until game 3, Damon is out with a concussion, and Ortiz and Ramirez have struggled this playoffs so far. With that being said, no one will love to see tha Yankess lose more than me, I hate the f'n yankess. I would love to see the red sox win, in fatc I want to see a Cub's/Red sox series, I am just being realistic. We will see though, hey Go Sox!

all these sox fans coming out of the closet all of a sudden is just a joke. will be a great series to say the least. just got my tickets to games 1&2 yesterday (third row first base line - helps having friends in the stock market).
anyway will be interesting to see how Little uses his staff during this series (used every starter in relief during the A's series). once the game gets to the 8th with a YANKEE lead and "Enter Sandman" game over. he is pitching better than i have ever seen him throw in recent years.....

yeah that is what i expected. everyone hates the yanks cause they spend the money. hell, i could get into a debate about this all day about how other owners just want to line their own pockets instead of putting a competitive team on the field. people don't realize that in the big picture.
yep, gonna be a long rest of the week for me! my little guy (7) is even coming to game 2 tomorrow night and i will probably have to take off on friday to recover.

i was just stating the obvious about how most people think when it comes to the yankees. they spend a ton of money just to win, well isn't that the whole part of the game to put the best team possible on the field in order to win. hell the sox are around $115M payroll themselves - i believe number 3 this year in spending and have also added another $15M since the trading deadline
