I was curious...Just how many of you simply couldn't "live" with out IM?
How would you feel if IM went under construction and the site went down for a while. Maybe a day or two?

Oh hell ya, I couldn't even count the amount of times that I would set aside a few hours for homework and spent the whole time pissing around at this place
Me too! I was just curious because I'm scoping this place out even while I'm at work. WHEN I SHOULD BE WORKING!!! I keep IM up all day at work...and then check it when I get home after the gym.
hell yeahhhh even when i'm working I sneak a check in here to see what's goin on. and when I wasn't working with computer totally was going through withdrawls.
Nawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!
I set myself another place,so ifIM is down I can always go elsewhere!!!;)
Good thinkin
I'm on other boards but this one is my favorite. One of my old favorite hangouts was a small board, Anabolic-Paradise, but left some time ago over some BS between the owners and the guy doing all the grunt work.
i have it open all day at work.
no computer at home and i get so antsy some weekends i consider going to kinkos and paying to log on. sometimes i'll use a friend's computer if i can't make it 'til monday.
i have a feeling if i had a computer at home im would start cutting into my sleep time!
It's funny you bring up this topic. I am another guilty one. I too have been putting off my homework just to hang out in here  . Your right, it does get very addicting. I used to be like Mudge years ago where I was a moderator in a forum. That is the ulitimate experience when you can spend your time in the forum and get paid for it at the same time :D.
You might say it is fun to read all the replies. It's like Christmas when you get mail telling you that the thread you subscribed to has a response :D Even when you leave, you find yourself sneeking back for a peek (It's funny!).
Glad I'm not the only one who feels that way.
Well I am on all the time...so I guess so:p
BTW Randy, we mods don't get paid. We do it cause we love Prince:grin:  ;)
So that is the prerequisite for the job (You have to love Prince).
 :D
Hmmmmm You guys are very dedicated.
Prince is very lucky to have you.
Prince, I would definately toss your faithful moderators a few bucks from time to time though :D
Shoot, even the AOL chat guides and such were volunteers, they got free AOL for 20 hours work a week, nothing more.
Sometimes...Loving what you do, is worth more than money! It's about passion.
and free access to the naked picture section?
just playing!
No. This isn't the main site I go to anyway. I just mostly read the info here and occasionally post.
yeah I gotta admit, I seem to be adicted to this place. I could live without it but it is entertaining. We definately have a wide variety of characters here. Good times right
NG -- We all know you weren't playin sister!!!:nanner: :nanner: :nanner:
gr81, you def. got that right! a lot of character here. Gotta love it though:thumb:
Babsie,
I guess there is some psychology behind your statement.
You can quickly run out of money, but the passion can burn strong for eternity. :thumb:
It's to bad passion cannot pay the rent!
Well, I suppose that can be argued.

Passion may not be able to pay the rent if you're living outside your financial boundaries. That's why, you build your future around your passion. Then, there's reason for change if you're unhappy with money. Sacrifice!! I'm in accounting...and the one thing you're tought....."Risk, equals reward!" Reward comes in mysterious ways my friend.
:D :D :D I liked your last statement....I chuckled......
With the way the economy has been, it has sent more than you know outside their financial boundaries. As appealing as it sounds, I would not build my future and business behind passion :D. You know the saying, "Never mix business with pleasure." :D Some aren't fortunate enough to take risk. With any risk you stand the chance to lose. But on the other hand, there is always a time for risk. Finding the right time is the key. Now for reward coming in mysterious ways, you are absolutely right about that one. ;)
