    Are you addicted to........

I was curious...Just how many of you simply couldn't "live" with out IM?

How would you feel if IM went under construction and the site went down for a while. Maybe a day or two?

Oh hell ya, I couldn't even count the amount of times that I would set aside a few hours for homework and spent the whole time pissing around at this place

Me too! I was just curious because I'm scoping this place out even while I'm at work. WHEN I SHOULD BE WORKING!!! I keep IM up all day at work...and then check it when I get home after the gym.

I'm on other boards but this one is my favorite. One of my old favorite hangouts was a small board, Anabolic-Paradise, but left some time ago over some BS between the owners and the guy doing all the grunt work.

It's funny you bring up this topic. I am another guilty one. I too have been putting off my homework just to hang out in here . Your right, it does get very addicting. I used to be like Mudge years ago where I was a moderator in a forum. That is the ulitimate experience when you can spend your time in the forum and get paid for it at the same time .

You might say it is fun to read all the replies. It's like Christmas when you get mail telling you that the thread you subscribed to has a response Even when you leave, you find yourself sneeking back for a peek (It's funny!).

No. This isn't the main site I go to anyway. I just mostly read the info here and occasionally post.
The statue of Liberty no longer reads "Bring us your tired, your hungry, your huddled masses..."
Now she's holding a baseball bat and it reads "Bring It On."

    Babsie,

I guess there is some psychology behind your statement.
You can quickly run out of money, but the passion can burn strong for eternity.

It's to bad passion cannot pay the rent!
Well, I suppose that can be argued.

Passion may not be able to pay the rent if you're living outside your financial boundaries. That's why, you build your future around your passion. Then, there's reason for change if you're unhappy with money. Sacrifice!! I'm in accounting...and the one thing you're tought....."Risk, equals reward!" Reward comes in mysterious ways my friend.

With the way the economy has been, it has sent more than you know outside their financial boundaries. As appealing as it sounds, I would not build my future and business behind passion . You know the saying, "Never mix business with pleasure." Some aren't fortunate enough to take risk. With any risk you stand the chance to lose. But on the other hand, there is always a time for risk. Finding the right time is the key. Now for reward coming in mysterious ways, you are absolutely right about that one.
