Jet Li gets my vote, he started when he was like 3?

Crap, didn't see Bruce, that would have been an interesting fight.

That greatly reduces the choices then

Jackie is not a "true" martial artist as he trained primarily for Chinese circus style MA. He is fucking awesome though.

Van Damme was evidentally more gymnastics and ballet than Karate......an idiot as well.

Jet Li is Kung Fu....started at 8 I believe and won many awards....good at what he does and looks great but would suck ass in a fight.

Steven Seagul WAS a reasonable Aikido dude a LONG time ago, that let his ego get in the way of many things and would get his ass owned by a mediocre fighter IMO....a moron as well...

Chow Yun-Fat is primarily an actor.

Bruce, Chuck and Jet are the only ones here really proven before becoming famous, with Bruce and Chuck more fighting oriented.

Of those two, I`d say Bruce was by far the more advanced fighter, and looked better doing it

Bruce was phenomanal, he's got my vote!!

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain...
