Halloween and stupid people

What ever happened to wearing costumes on Halloween? I had a woman come to my home with her two kids, trick-or-treating. The kids were not wearing costumes. They didn't even go to the trouble to wear a sports team Jersey and claim to be their sports hero. Anyway, they came to the door and said: trick-or-treat, then proceeded to open their bags. I'm standing there thinking, 'Go figure', but they're kids and I have lots of candy to give. I give them each something, the crap candy like jawbreakers or penny gum. So they got their candy, but nthen the worst thing happened! The mom opened her purse and waited expecting candy!! So I gave her candy too, but for only one reason. I don't need my house getting egged.

Every single kid that came to our place on halloween did not have a costume on. We still gave candy, but how lame is that?

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain...

I think it is dying. Halloween used to be great! Now, with the ass-wipes who do things to the candy, all the bad things..seems to be a lack of spirit..no wonder many people nowadays turn their lights off or go out to avoid it.

I saw several kids also not dressed up. It was crappy weather out, but still...

We were at a light and some girl, maybe 10 - 12 was walking across the street with her friends..well she triped going up the curb. She sort of caught herself.
I was tempted to yell out thewindow:
Hey, you're a travel agent! Nice trip!
but didn't....

I like on the simpsons halloween special:

Marge asks the kids if they would like to join Maggie and her in
trick-or-treating. Bart declines, since that would interfere with the
egg-throwing plans he has later that night.

Homer walks by, sloppily dressed, and eating from a can.

Marge: Oh, Homer you're not going as a hobo again?
Homer: Going where?

Homer: Hey! I saved your life! That egg sandwich could have killed you by cholesterol.
Lenny: Pfft, forget it, Homer. While it has been established that eggs contain cholesterol, it has not yet been proven conclusively that they actually raise the level of serum cholesterol in the human
blood stream.

I wouldn't have given them any candy! I'd have said, no costume no candy that's the deal

But I agree, I think the trick ot treating thing is coming to an end. The schools and churches around here always have big carnivals for the kids to... they safe it's safer

We seem to be getting more and more trick or treaters each year.
It appears that truck loads of kids are being transported from the bad neighborhoods over to the better ones, so they can conduct their trick or treating more safetly If it gets any worse, I'm going to have to ID the kids to make sure their from our neighborhood (just kidding)

So I had some coffee and hid...

I went bowling last week with my girlfriend. In the next lane over from us there were 2 guys and a girl. The 2 guys had their arms around each other while the girl bowled. Then when one of the guys stood up to bowl, she sat down and the guy put his arms around her. Then when the other guy stood up to bowl, he put his arms around her as well... I concluded that they must be definately having some sort of 3some going on there . It surprised me though how good looking she was and that she would waste herself on two majorly gay guys.
Call me old fashioned.

Unfortunately that's quite common nowadays. And most of them are little thieves with bad attitudes. You give them candy they don't like they call you cheap and racist.

They're all going to Hell, I PROMISE!!!!!!!!!

I think all 200 that came to my home were in costume with the exception of 1 teenage boy and a rude kid at that from what my neighbors said. I wasn't handing out candy, my wife was. I took my kids around the neighborhood. Lots of costumes including mine even though I don't trick or treat(my kids like me to dress up). To answer your possible question, I was a caveman.

Actually I was planning on wearing a priest costume when I took my daughter trick or treating, but she got sick. So I stayed home as myself.
