    Nutrional info on Restaurant Menus?

I just heard on the news that a CT congresswoman is proposing a law that would require restaurants to put labels (like they have on most foods you buy in stores) next to their menu items.

Is that weird or what? I don't think anyone would go out to eat anymore if they saw what restaurant food actually contained. Restaurants would go out of business (all except Subway).NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

"um, ya that cheese thing you just ate contains 50grams of fat, sorry about that"

    What u guys think........

I think that it is awesome, I think that teh FDA needs to make those labels MORE informational but hell ya, maybe people need to actually see what that food contains. they obviously don't think about it now. I don't think that business' would be very happy about it though. Subway ain't taht great either by that way. I can't stand that new slogan of theirs, implying that if you eat subway for lunch than you can eat whatever else you want teh rest of the day. SO stupid. Good idea IMO though

It would be great but I don't think it will ever pass. Fast food restaurants already have their "nutritional" information in pamphlets somewhere on the counter...they will argue that if people want the info they will look at those, I'm sure.

I don't think I would ever eat fast food again if I had to actually see that I was ingesting dozens of grams of fat at one sitting.
Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.

The difference between winners and losers is that winners do things that losers don't want to do.
