Figuring the savings on my greatest investment...

So, I figured I would FIgure out the savings I have made with my bes investment, my computer. So, here we go.

    Cost-$2000 in 2000

I have 1100 songs on my computer. Considering that 16 songs fit on a CD at the store, I basically have made 69 CDs. I figure it costs me 50 cents a CD whereas it would cost me $16 to buy in stores. Total savings is $1069.50. I would figure in the cost of intenet into this, but I figure of these 1100 songs, I would imagine that I would have bought way more than 69 CDs since few singers actually come out with an album with 16 good songs on it. I would kill myself if I would have had to purchase the whole Outkast album for the 1 or 2 good songs on it. One other X factor is bootlegs which generally cost $40 such as the Dave Matthews VH1 storytellers CD I bought 6 years ago which I have downloaded since for free.

Another good bargain is supplements. I used to buy supps at a discount shop near my old Apt. I would say that i can typically get things online for 60% of the cost at that store. I would say I have spent close to $500 on supps online, which would equate to a savings of $333.

So basically, I paid $2000 for a computer that has saved my $1400. this is not even taking into consideration unquantifiable things such as the ease of finding information and the 105 pornographic videos that I wouldn't have without the internet. i could not even imagine looking at a mag these days, that is so 6th grade. Anyway, I know I am missing some stuff so what else can you all come up with that I am saving on?

Edit: Of course meeting all my friends on IM is another unquantifiable in there, right behind the porn.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.

I have already done that, actually in a tennis can, then gave it to my mom, but I already discussed that before.

All in my roommates name, so it is irrelevant.
