You wanna borrow my gun and go get 'em? Just kidding. Sucks that that had to happen, but atleast the driver got a DUI which will keep him off the roads and he will have to pay fines, no consolidation to you but atleast he is going to pay for it. And his insurance should pay for you damage on your vehicle.

Sucky, hopefully its only a week? Rear quarter panel is the stuff I dread, fenders not such a big deal.

Flex. You know, Phsychology 101 explains the importance of writing your feelings/emotions down on paper helps relieve most stress.

Sorry to hear about your car. In order to file an Insurance claim, you'll most def. need an accident report. Do you remember what this guys jeep looked like? My guess is, that jeep will be back there again and if you can keep an eye out for it, write down the license plate number and turn it in to the police.

Step one: File a claim
Step two: Contact your Auto Insurance Co./Agency
Step Three: Seek estimates for auto repair
Step Four: Watch for this fellows jeep. When, or if you see it, write the license plate number down and turn it into the police and contact your Insurance Company.

its a front quarter panel, the front fender and the front left light/signal/foglight.

I would have beat the hell out of him for drinking and driving even if he didn't hit my car. Thats the most irresponsible thing I can think of. And his friends for letting him drive. I swear if anybody hits me while drunk they better cripple me or kill me cause I will drag them out of their car and stomp the shit out of them. I almost did once I followed this car swerving down the street, I called the police and trailed him till they showed up instead. If he had stopped before that I would have beat him and claimed he started it first.

thanks Babs. i dont know about writing it down, but i think murdering him would've help me more.

the police came and arrested him.....so they took care of the accident report.

then today i had to call the ins. co and do all that shit. its such a hassle that i dont need to deal with right now you know???

it makes you think. we gotta realize how lucky we are with the shit we have. (whether its $, cars, anything, and esp. people). its too bad that we usually only realize how lucky we are when something is gone from our lives.........

Check to see if his insurance company is going to pay for you to drive a rental until it gets fixed. If he has insurance, your insurance company may pay for the rental and then collect it through subregation(sp) from his ins. co. Look on the bright side, his insurance company is probably going to drop him like a used rubber after this is over. Either that or charge him through the nose.

getting a DUI is bad news man, trust me I know. He will be going to court for the next year at least, as well as spending probably thousands of dollars to get hisas out of trouble or from fines. At leats that is how it is in WA state damnit. He definately got the worst end of the deal, which he should, he is obvioously an idiot.

i am a VERY calm and civilized person, except when people do ridiculously stupid shit like taht. in fact, my and my friends often say i am TOO civilized, cuz i always talk people out of fights, even though my friends and I could and have beat some serious ass if it is necessary. i very very very rarely lose my cool, but when i do, watch the fuck out.

plus, if we did get in a fight, him and his buddies were hammered. there were 3 of them total, and me and my 2 buddies (3 of us), were either sober or nearly there. therefore, we'd tell the cops they started it, it would've been thier word vs. ours....

The WORST thing is, is that the most popular bar on campus, Huskies, lets every one out at 12:30 (on weekdays).

all the drunk idiots get in their cars and drive away. DUI's are like the 2nd highest arrest behind possession of alcohol by a minor.

Good thing you didn't touch him, Flex, the way today's society is frikkin sue-crazy. The DUI is going to be a major inconveience for him, so he's fucked now.

Flex, if you did kill them you could of had many years of free gym membership at your local Penitentiary Then you wouldn't have to worry about a ride to the gym. You would get a free ride But the downside is that you may of missed your finals next week
