Lightbulb New little feature...

I added a little 'mouse over' feature, when you put your mouse over a thread title you will get a pop-up box with the thread info, including the first 200 characters of the post.

thought you all might like that!

Cool, thanks P. This way I can pass on reading crap I don't want to. Of course, most of the time I can do that based on the thread opener.

Glad to hear that 'some' of you like it!

I have a question: should I change it so that it just displays the actual post (first 200 characters), and remove the author, topic, replies and views from the pop-up? or leave as it is?

Yeah, just the first 200 chars. are all that is necessary. The rest is in the columns to the side.

there are two ways to subscribe to a thread:

1.) At the bottom of every thread there is a link "Subscribe to this Thread" - click it!

2.) When you reply to a thread there is a check box "Email Notification: emails sent to you whenever someone replies." - check it!

also, if you want that check box checked by default every time you post there is an option in your user cp for that, not recommended though.

yeah, well many boards will soon be upgrading to vB3 and I do not foresee me upgrading IM to vB3 for awhile, so I want to make sure I have all of neat little features installed that vB3 has.

btw, this board is on vB 2.2.9

You already know how I feel but just in case this will be used for the official voting, I'm gonna say it again.

I don't like it. It's annoying
