    Is that thing UL listed?
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Any product comprised of components that are individually UL listed would be considered UL. I had to attain a UL rating for automation system control panels at a previous position I had and once you submit (purchase) your UL app and get approved all you do is submit a listing of the components you use to be UL approved.

Each component must be either UL or UR which means recognized and has to be on your submitted listing. There are other standards that apply to different applications but it is not difficult to build a UL approved device.

Now to submit a new product to become UL listed is a whole other cup of worms.

I think the extreme mod of this unit would warrant another UL and that case definetly isn't FCC approved
