I got into a little fender bender with my pick-up truck and I only carry liability insurance on it so I need to fix it myself.
I already dismantled the front end and luckily all that needs replaced is the bumper and grill.
Just curious if anyone here has ever ordered from these online car parts places, or if I am better off going to my local junk yard?
here is one that I was looking at online:

the prices seem pretty decent, but I have not checked anywhere else.

i have gotten many things thru eBay also. You might want to check there first.
I also have used those online junkyards, like you posted, but never heard of the one you linked to. The one i used was very good. The parts were in the exact condition that was described. I have it easy though, I have an older mustang. Mustangs parts are so easy to get for dirt cheap. There's tons of salvage yards specifically for them.
I would ask around town though. You might find what your looking for and not have to pay for shipping from an online place. The price may be cheaper online, but add the shipping cost, it sometimes pays to just get it locally.

I've only done eBay and message boards, and of course local yards![]()

Prince, while I usually shop close to home for like kind and quality parts, this site seems to be pretty good.

There are specialty yards for some cars, the only ones I know of are GM related, Vette/Firebird/Camaro, oh and some Datsun yards.
