What do you want for Christmas?

For those of you who don't celebrate this, my apologies on not being politically correct. I guess I should call it "holidays". No, wait...that's like "holy" days, which is wrong too...umm...

Anyway, what are you hoping to see under your tree, menorah, statue of Bhudda or whatever?

I'm just hoping somebody will help me out with my tuition and cash towards a house down payment. I guess I'm getting old. I don't think Santa could fit a 5'7" blonde down the chimney. I hope he rings the bell instead.
Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.

The difference between winners and losers is that winners do things that losers don't want to do.

that is where we differ ... I'd prefer to skip this and every other holiday. As soon as our daughter figures out there is no Santa, then I should be on my way to keeping Xmas very very low key.

wow...ive never seen a bunch of people so anti xmas..it is my favorite holiday by far. i agree that some people take it too far (eating, buying too many presents etc.) but people r generally happier, its beatiful when it snows, winter break (for kids) and celebrating the end of a year and the beg of a new 1

I don't know what part of the country you live in BB, but people here are just as crabby/miserable despite the holidays. The snow here is gray and muddy. Time off from school just gives those odd trouble makers more time to steal or wreck peoples Christmas decorations. And celebrating the end of one year only to have to do it all again, birthdays, valentines, easter, thanksgiving ... and on and on.

If you would have said the same thing I did, it would have really have thrown me for a loop. Of all the people on IM, I take you as being a most bubbly upbeat person with plenty of passion for family/friends.
