They'll get their mention in footnotes in some history books, no doubt. But their, or their great-great-great-grandchildren's, claims to property rights are not likely to be worth very much more than the light beaming at you from your screen at this moment.

Seems to me that I've read somewhere fairly recently that the Chinese intend to eventually land on the moon and explore possible exploitation of resources there.
