Last year a guy from tech TV rigged up his room with X-mas lights and connected them to his computer. Whenever he played an MP3 or music CD, the x-mas lights would strobe to the beat of the music... I wanted to follow the schematics for that one, I thought that would be pretty kewl.... But I never got around to it
As far as this project...looks like to much trouble to me. The portable idea is kewl though.
