I see a woman with breast implants who has muscle and is very lean, obviously she must not be discusted with how she looks. What in the world do you mean "what happens to men?"

Side effects may well included increased muscle mass, go who-da-thunkit!

    Mudge ROCKS!

you can be sure that when these women hit the gym they don't care if other women would like to achieve a similar look or if other men would like to sleep with them.

These women look competition ready... the photos are a bit shocking... but only because the shape is so rare on a woman... I'm not all that interested at looking at their um... you know whats... but they do look pretty ripped... and must have worked aweful hard.

Apparently as of now women are supposed to all resemble Krystal Steal, I guess anal is better that way eh "BigBalla?"

We all have our preferences, but a post stating "women should/shouldn't" serves what purpose?

How about people should treat each other with respect and keep thier opinions of how a woman does or does not turn them on to themselves. Do you drive down the street yelling out "HEY UGLY, FIX THAT HAIR, IT DOESN'T MEET MY STANDARDS!" - I would hope not, but maybe that is the thing that BigBallas do while they are pimpin in the hood.

I dont neccessarily want to be with a woman who bench presses 345 pounds either, but why does it mean I have to be vocal about how women should be held to some kind of standard?

IMO this is the same kind of ignorance that keeps clitorectemies in existence.

    i hear ya fitgirl.

i just feel bad for women bodybuilders in general since some people in the general public somehow feel entitled to determine everyone else's standard of beauty.

it's not uncommon for people to approach the women and let them know they think it's ugly/disgusting/unnatural etc.

they're often targets for unsolicited opinions and i'm sure it can be hurtful.

but Mudge... on a certain level... this website isn't walking down the street... it's a bodybuilding website... it's the one place you ARE supposed to judge an appearance... we all have different goals for our bodies, some more mass, some more athleticism, some figure driven...

Sure disgusting is a bit harsh... but at the same time, he's not the only person who feels this and just as we all take flack and praise for our photos and hard work, so must these women.

Its the same thing as our good friend SOYHEAD coming here and ragging on everyone for lifting weights in the first place with threads like, "WHY DO YOU WASTE YOUR TIME BODYBUILDING" and so on. If you dont like it, thats fine - but why do you have to rub it in someones face? What is the point? Obviously that person wants to do that with thier lives.

Why do people play baseball? Why do people run marathons? Why do some people die thier hair black? Because they want to. Whatever happened to keeping a completely pointless and only negative opinion to yourself?

If it serves no purpose, then you waste time, energy, and precious air expending such nonsense into the world. Do something usefull with your life, like wiping your own ass and not someone elses.

Go run some blood tests yourself, health is not something to be judged from appearance alone. How about coming clean too, I dont believe "discust" is a medical term, if you want to talk about "health" then bring something to the table not sexist comments about what meets or does not meet your standards for feminism.

Sometimes what sounds like a negative comment might actually be what that person needs to come back to reality...

After all, if this person in the photo were sickly and anorexic, saying their entitled to look how they want would be absurd... I think the line where healthy and unhealthy relating to how you want to look has to come in to play at some point...

....but the line seems to come into play when looking at women's bodies FAR more than it does for men

it's far more "acceptable" and commonplace to objectify women in this way than it is men.

Then let us base it on health not physical attraction or lack thereof. If she is playing with diuretics (somewhat likely) she could be putting herself in great physical danger, personally I wont touch them, no reason to. She is likely suppressing estrogen to some level, does she get bi-monthly blood tests to make sure she is not going to hurt herself? Who knows, either way virtually anyone who competes at high levels is probably doing something risky to themselves.

People and corporations become top dog for a reason, pushing the envelope.

Agreed. I hear a simple afterthought coverup comment on HEALTH when in fact the post was clearly about imparting a view of what is physically attractive or not.

they are related... imposing a view of unattractive in relation to that picture, which is the general consensus... discourages women from striving towards that... do they still? yes, but it's a very small percentage, most want to look like J-Lo and Britney spears... which, encourages more health consciousness than drug, hormone, and chemical abuse.

I gotta tell you, that pic shocked me. I thought she looked scarey, BUT I agree that she obviously worked very hard to look that way. I think it's just that it looks so DIFFERENT. I myself would NEVER want to look like that BUT I do admire the type of dedication it must take to achieve that level of muscularity.
