    Do You Keep a Journal Here @ IM?

    Just curious...

    Really trying to kickstart the journal forum because I need some more big, strong guys keeping journals to compete with. No necessarily compete on stage just but just check out their journal and compare strength, etc.

    As for support, I could care less. I motivate myself enough. If I can't do it, then no one here can. I also don't won't varying opinions, maybe from some that don't know right from wrong. I know what I want to do and how to do it. No disrepect intended!
    But if others do, that is great. I'll help when I can.

    I used to keep one here, and it was pretty fun as me and Dvlmn kept pushing each other. Tried again this year and I find I type in the same thing time after time. Plus my schedule is so screwed up I can get to a computer only after about half of my workouts. So I just stopped posting.

    I have one, but have stopped updating on a regular basis since starting TwinPeak's new training program, since he has asked us not to release any details at the present time. Once the program is completed, I intend to resume my journal here.

    My workouts tend more towards powerlifting (as opposed to body-building), so it might be what you are looking for.

    I am not a journal person either, I am trying to keep one and update as often as I can, but I do not really keep detailed track of my work-outs, never have. I do have a little notebook where I write down my work-out schedule each week, and make any changes as they occur, I also note things in there like "light day", "heavy day", etc. or when I started a certain supplement.

    And as of right now I eat just about the same thing every day, every meal, 7 times per day, so I did not think it made sense to copy and paste it every day into a new post!

    but I do try and comment in some of them when I get a chance...I could try and make an effort to be more active in the Journal forum.

    Yeah I think that keeping a journal is very very effective, personally. Keeping track of your gains and what works for you, etc. Can't be a bad thing if you ask me.

    It seems that the people who keep a daily journal end up making the best progress. At least in my experience.

    No, not at all. I am not worried about comments in my journal, but it would be nice to have some other guys keeping training journals with similar goals. Strength, size, etc.

    I keep a journal because knowing that JBo and now Atherjen are gonna yell at me when I cheat.. I usually don't, cheat that is.

    I like when people give me suggestions.... it helps me alot.

    I am terrible at keeping a journal. I do have a journal on another site that I try to keep up on, and I did start one here but since I know my eating and lifting habits I tend not to journal. I have been sporadically posting in it here and on the other site I go to, but I am going to try and keep posting in it more frequently in the future.
