Wow - I think that sounds like a good statement to put on a tee shirt! You might have something there...and if so, I'd sure wish you good luck and I'll buy a tee shirt down the road...
Sorry - I can't offer you any drawing skills. I'm afraid my artistic abilities are still limited to rather generic looking stick people...and if I tried to draw those and a plate, it would probably end up looking like two stick people being chased by a flying saucer...not a good gym shirt...
Then everything would have to be changed...it would have to say "Success is measured by one alien experience at a time." hehehehe..
Just joshing ya here. . .
I hope you find someone who could draw your image out really well for you - it sounds like a great business idea to me!

Okay, if anyone remembers me asking a couple of years ago for some T-shirt sayings, please feel free to share here again.
If you don't remember it, share anyway.
I think I've found somewhere to print some shirts for me and I think I'm about to embark on a new business here.
Here's my first shirt saying -- this would be the back of a Tank or a sleeveless T.
(with a picture of a 50lb barbell plate grayscaled in the background)
The text would say --
"Success is measured one plate at a time"
What do you think? Anyone a drawer here and wanna sketch that out for me? I'll send you a shirt for FREE!!!!
Thanks for the input.

I like it! I would buy a tank if you really start selling them! Black please...

FG, I love that idea but I'd replace the 50 with a 45lb plate. Just my suggestion. As for drawlings give me a day or two and I'll try to work something up for you on photoshop.
fyi FG. skip the drawling, What you would like to do is a photo of a plate downloaded to the PC or find on on the net. Then overlay it on a tanktop pic along with the words. That is what I'm going to do. They don't do drawlings anymore sweetie. Today's technology has no place for pencils. lol
OH yea Gman I also draw. don't get me wrong bro it's just that when they design shirts etc they do it electronically using all the high tech picture graphic stuff etc.
OK this is expecially for FITGIRL and GR8. Take a look through this thread and take special note as to all the different shirt designs this guy FLEXUM made up for Milos Sarcev. Very Impressive and he did them all with Photoshop and such tools. Not a pencil. http://www.milossarcev.com/cgi-bin/y...num=1066178120
Well that is not the point I was trying to make Mayo. It was the procedure of creating designs for shirts (ie: drawlings vs. computer technology). Not a specific individuals talents.

Sounds good to me Fire. I was actually thinking of using a 45lb plate but having it grayscaled in the back with the text over it. Just let me know what you come up with. That'll be cool! You're so sweet.
I'm also coming up with new text and pic ideas, I'm keeping them all in a log.
