Unhappy No Really, This Time I'm Gone

I'm kind of leaving. I'll visit every now and then, but any possibility of ever whoring again is gone. I take a couple of days off work and when I come back the site has been blocked!!! So I'm at home right now posting this thread. I'd love to whore from home, but since I have crappy dial-up service, it just takes too darn long to even attempt whoring. Most of you will probably be so happy to read this and LOL you got your way! Well, good day all. . . .

Hrm, guess the US Navy is cracking down on that stuff these days. Its funny how the Navy cares more about looking like they are doing something than actually doing something... I always figured when someone has a break, give them a friggin break.

5 years in the USN taught me otherwise though.

That is a lame excuse...I have a T1 connection at work (fast as hell) and dial-up at home, I still get online and post quite a bit at home on my dial-up.

Prince-- Whats your dialup speed? I find that mine at home will only run at 28.8k

I also have T-1 here at work.

56k, but I have a good modem which makes a HUGE difference, I use a 56k Modem Blaster. It "says" that my connection is 115k.

There are a lot of ways to use the internet at work. A proxy is never that good.

If they blocked one website, this one, you may use a web proxy, you should be fine.

Er, but dont try to get around the stuff at work... there a better chance they wouldnt take it so well being that you're in the military. I could just see your SO coming down to ask you why you're using a program to get around the proxy

However, absolutely no reason to not post at home. Besides the fact that you have a family and stuff of course

    I didn´t know that.

Maybe he can try "social hacking".. go ask the guy that runs the proxy to set you free.

Using the military's equipment especially for anything personal like a computer and on their time is not a good idea. They will know everything you do - believe me. They are always looking for something and trying to find out whatever from wherever. If you are not doing something "agreeable" you can cause yourself a lifetime of heartache. Use your home computer. It is better that way. Take Care, John H.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain...

John H. is right. If "they" want to get rid of TGS for some reason all they have to do is go back through the logs and nail him with the excessive use of the internet for non-official use cluase. And if he where to use a proxy or whatever to get to this site, they could investigate him for possible espionage.

One way of getting around blocked websites at work is to go to http://www.megaproxy.com/
and then just enter any URL that you want. Works great, until the IT guys block the site.

"You should be studying for your advancement tests." That's what I used to hear constantly on my ship when I was on duty for 12 hours with nothing to do except wait for messages to print off of a printer, listen to radio comms and freeze my ass off in our 60 degree radio shack. I filled the time reading and writing poetry or exploring our LAN for everyones secret stashes of jokes, porn, funny movies etc. (we didn't have internet) and of course some gung ho, squared away lifer would come by and tell me I should be reading a Navy manual or some other tech manual even though I could run circles around half of the guys who out ranked me when it came to applied knowledge.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Hi Maniclion. Boy isn't that the TRUTH! I do not see how anyone spends their life in the military really. Even those - before I got out after serving my term - that were there for years were tired of it and all the BS. In wartime they leave you alone and treat you like a human being usually and they actually "admit" that you actually KNOW what you are doing but immediately after all the chicken shit comes back bigtime and you become "stupid" to them again. I knew people who served in the military for years and couldn't wait to get out of it as fast as they could when their current tour of duty was over. They just couldn;t stand it anymore. Take Care, John H.
