    Unhappy death of a friend...

well...i got to school today...and i learned taht one of my friends over-dosed on some drugs and died...
Its just hard to imagine...he was 16

I hate drugs, there are too many around where i live, ive NEVEr done any myself.

And its hard to help your friends when they dont wanna be helped.

Overall, he was a bad kid really, just got messed up and had some problems.
Has anyone else suffered the loss of a friend b/c of drugs?

Sorry for your loss man. I havent lost a friend due to drugs, but do have a friend who I believe is an alcoholic. He's undoubtedly on a path thats going to end badly. I've tried to get him help, but as you said, some people just dont want to be helped.
But when you disarm them, you at once offend them by showing that you distrust them, either for cowardice or for want of loyalty, and either of these opinions breeds hatred against you.

    16 years old, how tragic...that's a bummer

he must have been injecting or snorting heroin

I have mixed emotions when it comes to recreational drugs as I've seen 10x the people fuck up their lives worse with alcohol...
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

thats bad man, i never knew someone who died from drugs, but my ("ex-friend") acctually we used to be like brothers started experimenting with weed and it was fine for a time but when i staarted to be more mature and kinda grew up and concentrated on school and started being really serious with bodybuilding he just stayed the same, no we dont even talk to each other, everyone hates him (his old friends) because he is so dumb, he doesnt go to school at 18 but he works full time to pay for his "sports car" (dodge stratus RT), he is friends with alcoholics and drug users, i tryed to talk to him about it once but he says that he is not addicted and that he can stop anytime he just doesnt want to..... he is a heavy weed smoker and he uses extasy, and i think he is strating to "experiment" with some hevier shit too. His parent are so nice, and until like last month he was lyind to his parents that he is still going out with me and my friends at night, and they beleived him until they came to visit my parents and i told them that i didnt see their son for months.........he is a fucking idiot who is an drug addict, it is sad but what the fuck am i gona do about it, ((((he is also a fat ass )))

also, his parents love me, because i helped him get away from some bad friends he had like long time ago, and when i found out that he was lying to them about how he is still with me when he goes out got me really pissed, what a fucking bitch

ps: the reason he is lying is because othervise they would not let him leave the house withoutasking him where he is going what he was doing and normal parents questions....i feel so sorrty for them becasue they are such nice people

three diffferent kids died at young ages when I was in high school. One was street racing and the other two were drunk driving I believe. They were all jerks, sorry to say, but it's still sad. After each death all these wonderful things were said about them about how sweet and nice they were and would never hurt a fly, but one in particular made several kids' lives miserable in high school. Anyway, yeah it's still sad.

Sorry to hear about your loss - that's tragic.
Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.

The difference between winners and losers is that winners do things that losers don't want to do.

That story reminds me of these two guys in my high school who use to pick on other kids because they were alot bigger than every one else. They both ended being killed, one in a traffic accident and the other was hit in the head with a bat,and later died.

You are right. You can't help friends who don't want it. But what you can do is lead by example. Let others see you stay far away from it. That will do more good than anything.
