one thing tho, no one is destined to be fat, NO ONE! so neither you or anyone else can use that excuse
Can anyone help me with body toning?
I am 25yrs male, 5ft 8 and 11s10 (couple of punds overweight). I feel that I am very very fit...I have run 4 miles every other day for a couple of years and I can run 1.5 miles in 9 min 30s. I also feel like I am strong, capable of 52 press ups a minute and 60 sit ups a minute. These are the only three types of exercise I do, and I do them very regularly. My diet could be described as average...salads and pastas and the occasional big mac or pizza.
However despite being much fitter then most of my friends, I have the appearance of someone 2-3 stone overweight. I cannot get rid of my belly and have too much fat everywhere. I am getting quite bored with fat taunts from these same friends as I have trained so much harder for much longer than any of them.
My question is...are the runs, sit ups and push ups I am doing wrong when it comes to conditioning my body? If so exactly how do I get the toned, 6-pack look I've spent way to long looking for? Or is it the case that if you come from a fat family, you're destined to a fat life?
