    Forum Drama

OK, I'm not usually one to start threads, altho I probably should since I always have a lot of questions.

I would just like to say I am SICK and TIRED of all this DRAMA!
I joined and became addicted to IM forums because it has been a supportive caring family that puts up with my ups and downs, whining and complaining, etc etc. I did NOT come here to see people fight every damn day about petty bullshit!
Granted, it might not all be petty bullshit, but this is not the place for these types of arguments and it really upsets me to see them occurring so often recently.

I hope that some of you reconsider and attempt to smooth out your differences, or else I will probably avoid the OPEN CHAT forum much more if not completely, maybe w. the exception of the whoring thread and any thread that looks calm and cool.

Cliche as it sounds, cant we all just get along???

I reiterate, IM Forums has been great for support, but I feel like these fights are slowly destroying it.

Oh and how come its mostly guys arguing, usually its girls that cause all the drama

Sorry I just had to get this all out, and I highly doubt I'm the only one who feels this way.

    Love you all

Drama = "teh dumb." I think sometimes its better not to post my opinion on such things at all, I just avoid often.

I know this post is partially directed towards me and I'm sorry it carries over to you guys. My argument with that individual was sort of hard to leave a door since he said some nasty things about me when I never even addressed him. He had no business to say the things he said about me and I had no choice but to defend myself right here where he insulted me for everyone to see. His words were hurtful and I only asked for an apology which I never got. So what am I to do just take his crap? Take the insults? Sorry that is not me. I don't take crap from anyone. Since this is effecting you in such a way Blonde I'll curve it and ignore the jerk. Sorry again.

A great book I read for self control (for me anyway) was "How to Win Friends and Influence People." More common sense than anything else, you win no friends by backing a man into a corner, you only make him fight with more vigor.

Like anyone I forget this stuff sometimes, reminders are good.

Well, as I guess this is pointed at me as well, I`ll have to reply.

Basically, with any large group of people characters are going to clash and drama will occur. I mean, how many families are truely drama free ALL THE TIME? Throw in an extra dose of test and what do you expect.

In the 3+ years I`ve been here I can only think of 4 people I`ve really had issues with....and funnily enough, I`ve never been on my own there. All of the issues have come about because of what they`ve done on this board.

2 of which were banned, one of which we worked out some minor disagreements and now have no probs, and the fourth of which is now using his post in here to further abuse me.....it actually quite surprised me as I was under the impression we`d agreed to stay away from one another......part of his last PM 2 weeks back was ( yes, I saved them all lol )...

Right just go away now dumb ass,, I don't want to keep going back and forth with you!!............
just to go away now!!! GOT IT!!!
Until yesterday anyway, for whatever reason........... Anyway, I expect this to be taken care of in pm`s....repeatedly made that clear, so expect no more of it to be public.

To GBC.......there has been our fare share of female/female drama in the past....THAT was vicious Anyhoo.....sorry you feel the way you do.

    To Mudge.......LMFAO!!!

To Traps....Damned....what a short memory you appear to have!!!

I hear ya, Viv!! Even though I see a lot of "nonsense", I don't really see it, though.

Maybe that's why I am such a happy-go-lucky person and I don't let things or people bother me here when it's in a "negative" way.

For a long while, I use to walk right in on stuff...sometimes (more than I'd like) I get caught up in stuff...........All because of opinions................Seems like people do not realize all we have here are our words and opinions..Nobody said anybody had to agree with your opinion, etc.........Just because certain individuals may not agree......WWII starts because it's hard for some people to agree to disagree.

    No doubt.........I wouldn't be here

I try to avoid but there are times where people here make you feel like you need to defend yourself because they don't let go.

Anyway, I plan NOT to add anymore drama this year

things definitely flare up from time to time but honestly....we have a VERY lenient board here and i'm grateful for that. i've been on some of the other big sites and i'm telling you, just disagreeing with a mod will get you booted even if you are 100% courteous at all times and that's just bs.

so while i prefer when things are harmonious at im...i realize that we're lucky to have the latitude we do around here instead of people being banned constantly. (thanks prince and mods)

Just live by my sig and we'll all get along.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,

no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
