    History of protein bars

    Does anyone knows where I can find the history, company profile, and research of a protein bar? It could be any protein bar.. I'm trying to do a buisness related speech on protein bars.. (any bar would do.. I prefer detour)

    I like the designer whey bars. they taste like candy bars. the joyride is like an almond joy bar (taste like coconut). I prolly eat two of these bars a week. I prefer my own bars (peanut butter, honey, oatmeal and protien powder). but sometimes you feel like a nut, and sometimes you don't.

    You are right there is a lot of crap in them. I guess it is all realtive and a matter of personal choice. I like my bars better, however they are high in simple carbs (honey). I use prepackaged stuff as a convieneince and to break up the diet a little now and then (whey powder is one package food I supplement my diet with daily).
