a favour to NT ...
I have a favour to ask of you people. While in Calgary this past week, I've had the opportunity to chat with this young lady. She is up for hottest bartender with the local paper. In talking to her, she is as funny and down to earth as a bartender can be. I have also during my journeys this week talked to two of thte other "hotties" that are up for the same thing. Granted, the other two that I have seen could be considered better looking because they have paid for whatever they have, but as conversationlists and overall good natured, they can't hold a candle to this lady ... if you got the time, please vote for Jenn from the M Bar. As a single parent, she is kicking ass ... I told her I would help her out as much as I could ... so, I'm calling on the IM community to give her a hand.

She was pretty surprised and happy when I told what I had done (made a request here) .. and for my troubles, she's going to buy me a drink. It's funny how if you treat someone with respect in the restaraunt field, how much better your service is. After only 4 days here, I get served as soon as I enter the bar. I get a "Stephen, would you like this drink or are you having this meal" ... it's not often that I get that. And all the waitress' are as kind. I think it's probably that I'm so damn charming ...  nt gets on the ego bandwagon for just a bit ... ok, done  |
