    Suggestion on MP3 player??

Does anyone have a good MP3 player? My last two were from MPIO (Digital Way). I had an DMK. Then I bought a FL-100 and it broke. They work great but they are not very durable. Their warranty only lasts 120 days....

    My requirements are:

    At least 128 MB
    FM Tuner
    PC compatible
    Belt clip

    Thanks!

IPOD doesn't have a built in FM tuner. Besides, I have the Rio Karma 20 GB and it owns the IPOD

I got mine on eBay for $34 with NO memory, I bought a seperate 256MB MMC card for I think $60 but I forget. It also can use the IBM MicroDrives but they are too expensive, I had a 64MB player with embedded memory before until the memory became corrupted because their file transfer program SUCKED ASS.

Mine works as a virtual drive now

Players are probably cheaper now, you should easily find one with 128MB for around $50ish?

    My YEPP kicks.

I heard the iPods had a problem with the NiCads only lasting less than a year and weren't replaceable. I don't know if Apple has fixed the problem.

Actually its over a year. Then if you want a new battery, you have to send it in and it costs like 200$ or someshit. They say you might as well buy a new one.

MP3 players are getting cheaper and cheaper though. You can get a good one with pretty good memory for around 100 bucks or a bit more.

128mb is about 2.5 hours I think. Something like that. I had my YEPP about 3/4 full for a bus ride this last weekend and it lasted over 2 hours before starting over.

I have a Rio Chiba 256mb and I like it. It has a tuner and seems to be alot more rugged than it looks. It also uses SD memory cards as well which can provide an additional 512mb. How much music you get is based on the quality you download. I find mp3s @128kps to be good quality and I get about 4 hrs of music from it without additional memory. Only issue I have is that I had a $20 rebate that I sent in over xmas and the son of a bitch hasn't come yet. Oh, I also think the Rio Music Manager software has some bugs as well, but the player is great. I think I paid $139 which will dropin the event I ever get my rebate check.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.
