    What R Your Favorite Movies?

I started this because one of the "Training" Topic threads got a little divergent.

One of my favorites is the "Reservoir Dogs," like Spitfire.

The writing, casting, set, acting, dialogues, and hipness was very genuine in "Reservoir Dogs."

Tarantino has changed. Nothing it static. Things are dynamic.

    Over to you people....
Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first.

Pulp Fiction. I have that tune as my cell phone tone.

The Game, Braveheart..........let me come back and add some more when I`ve stopped drinking.

Pulp Fiction is the greatest movie of all time no doubt. Top ten:

    1. Pulp Fiction
    2. Goodfellas
    3. Taxi Driver
    4. Fargo
    5. Platoon
    6. The Godfather
    7. A Clockwork Orange
    8. Star Wars
    9. The Empire Strikes Back
    10. Raging Bull

I love many others as well, I recently saw Bad Lieutenant and LOVED it. It's rated NC-17 though so beware!

I could talk about movie for days

Lenny: Pfft, forget it, Homer. While it has been established that eggs contain cholesterol, it has not yet been proven conclusively that they actually raise the level of serum cholesterol in the human
    blood stream.

I wasn't a big fan of Fear and Loathing (please don't say you have to be high or drunk when watching cause I hate when people say that). I think Trainspotting is the best drug movie out there. I'm a big fan of Drugstore Cowboy and Requiem For A Dream as well.

Speaking of movies, I saw Dawn Of the Dead Friday, it was pretty darned good. Anyone else see it?

You have to have read the book and be an HST fan to know where it's coming from. Johnny Depp immersed himself in the character spending time in solitary confinement with the Gonzo Dr. himself. Depps character in Pirates of The Carribean draws from mannerisms of HST in Fear and Loathing.

On another note I heard they are working on a movie for his Rum Diaries book.

    I noticed that also...
HST is an amazing "Gonzo" writer. I recomend reading any if not all of his stuff.
If you are a sport fan or even just a HST fan-

Its very good reading, of an uncommon opinion.

so i guess my favs are:
    scarface
    3x LOTR
    3x Star Wars (1st 3)
    Pulp Fiction
    Braveheart
    Young Guns
    Snatch
    Rambo: First Blood
    Memphis Belle
    Toy Soldiers
    Pumping Iron
    Just some of my favs....

If i had a gun to my head and HAD to pick one, i'd have to go with Braveheart. It still brings tears to my eyes when i see the last seen of William's boys screaming and charging the buttfuck English when the English think they're there to endorse Robert The Bruce as king.

Doom Generation, Clockwork Orange, Reservoir Dogs, Fargo, Psycho (the original), Godfather I & II, Touch of Evil, Blade Runner, Fight Club, and...Natural Born Killers (I still love it even though Oliver Stone massacred Tarratino's script.)
